Interview Procedures

Candidates for associate and summer clerk positions will generally be interviewed at the law school by a partner and an associate from the firm's Recruiting Committee. Candidates in whom we are interested will be invited to visit us, generally within three weeks of their interview.

If an invitation for an office interview is extended, we ask that you provide us an unofficial transcript and a short writing sample for our review prior to your arrival. We reimburse mileage and other pre-approved travel expenses. Details will be formalized at the time the invitation is extended.

It is our practice to make offers as quickly as possible after interviewing is completed and in no event later than December 1 of the interview year. We ask that applicants to whom invitations to visit or offers of employment are made extend similar courtesy by notifying us promptly of their decision. We will generally commit ourselves to keeping offers open through December 15 of the interview year.
